It's time for our Annual Sale! We'd love to make room for new stock, but we're getting a little tight! During January we moved a few things around (we're still in the process), and we've unearthed a number of items while moving stock around, plus we're a little overstocked on a few things as well.
During the entire month of February, ALL OUR STOCK IS 10% OFF! This includes our regular-stock DMC thread, fabrics, and other items not usually on sale. Selected items will be up to 70% off. Sale applies only to in-stock items only and not to customer holds/special orders. Some new stock may be excluded. No returns on items more than 10% off. Additional items may be added as the month progresses, so check back often!

This newsletter will focus primarily on Alison Cole's workshop at our 2015 Retreat. More information on Hazel Blomkamp's workshop with our local Island Stitchery Guild will be sent out when I have more details.
I've set some tentative pricing based on hosting the Retreat at the Bethlehem Retreat Centre. I am still working on pricing with the Dorchester, but it will be about the same - though meals will probably not be included at the Dorchester, but accommodations are somewhat more luxurious as all rooms include a private bathroom. Both locations are wheelchair accessible. Click on the survey (big blue button below) to express your choice of location and project
Estimated pricing is as follows:
- Single occupancy (single bed, shared bath) $525.00
- Double occupancy (double bed, shared bath) $495.00
- Suite (private bath) $$675.00
- Participant (instruction) only $300
All prices (if held at the Bethlehem Retreat Centre) include instruction and use of the teaching room. For participant-only, lunch and two snacks are included. For full-stay, three meals and two snacks are included. Note that kit costs are not included and depend on the kit chosen, and GST is applicable to all options.

I have finally been able to catch up on our New Stock section of our website. While quantities may not always be up-to-date (there is no connection between our inventory system and the website), at least the new stock is listed. I will be uploading more of our older stock as soon as possible, but it may be a few months yet. As always, just click on "New!" on our website menu or click on the title bar of this section to see all our newest additions.

The Mystery is revealed! Lizzie Kate has released Part III of the Things Unseen Mystery Sampler so it is now complete, and it's just lovely. I am busy stitching it myself at the moment and really enjoying it.
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart" (Helen Keller) reads the saying, surrounded by spot samples of primitive roses, hearts, and honeybees. There are two bonus charts - a banner and a pin cushion.

We've received a small quantity of Victoria Sampler's newest offerings, and some have already sold, so I will be ordering again very soon.
There is a beautiful new long sampler, Mothers and Daughters, expressing the very special bond that exists between the two. Lovely soft colours and exquisite bands of specialty stitches embellish this lovely piece.
Next up is a beautiful music box top "Loving Friends" which could also be finished as a picture or pillow, and has a bonus design of a needlebook and pincushion.
And the Valentine Cupcakes are quite yummy and don't have any calories whatsoever! Very pretty with their embellishment of Hardanger icing

New Lighting!
At this time of year, a good light can make all the difference in our comfort level when stitching. We have brought in a fabulous new light on the market, the Stella Desk lamp. This versatile light has three banks of LED bulbs and 15 different settings: Warm, Natural and Cool light, each with 5 intensity settings. Available in Black and White.
